The new iPhone 4S offers a better camera, faster internet access up to (14.4Mbps), about an hour longer battery life (on 3G), a new messaging service (iMessage), a voice control feature, Bluetooth 4.0, and improved wireless performance. iOS 5 on a faster processor
Apple iPhone 4S may look similar to the iPhone 4, but it boasts of a more powerful processor and a brand new OS. It comes with an A5 1GHz dual-core processor, which Apple claims offers 7x faster graphics performance. This is bound to be noticed when playing games and will make the Apple iPhone 4S even more responsive.
iPhone 4S will ship with Apple latest OS, the iOS 5, which Apple says will be offering over 200 new features aimed at making the iOS more at par with other mobile OSes like Android. Same Retina display, but a better camera
The iPhone 4S features the same retina display on the Apple iPhone 4. It is still the same 3.5-inch retina display with 960 x 640-pixel resolution giving 326 ppi. Like in iPhone 4, the display comes with both scratch and fingerprint resistance. Most people were expecting a 4.0-inch display, but the 3.5-inch retina display will still offers a brilliant view.
On the camera front, Apple offers an improvement. The Apple iPhone 4S features an 8 megapixel camera with a full 1080p HD video recording. It also features an LED flash, auto focus, and geotagging. Apple iPhone 4S comes with a front facing camera capable of VGA video recording.

A more intelligent voice control feature
Perhaps the most interesting feature on the iPhone 4S is its voice control feature, Siri, what Apple calls an intelligent assistant. The unique thing about it is that it enables you talk to your phone the way you will talk to a person. Ask your phone questions, make requests, or give it commands, the iPhone 4S will respond intelligently. It may even ask you a few questions of its own to clarify what you want.
